In the late 21st century, the world and lives as people know, ended. Despite the impending signals of a widespread system failure, the world leaders claimed it was just a myth and ignored the rightfully informed. Irreparable repercussions followed. Without any proper governing oversight, large corporations began to wield exorbant levels of control. They would paint a picture with Any color in order to temporarily sate their unquenchable thirst. This inevitably led to the widespread poaching of companies and services by larger black companies. And when “diplomacy” for acquisition failed, certain forceful phases were taken. But there was a limit to these methods. Braving the way, and needing a new measure to sway the balance, the content creation card was drawn.

At first, it was a simple experiment, but it soon proved to be fruitful. Propaganda Coverage was its initial intended purpose. But that soon evolved and changed as decades went by. It had now become a part of life. A way to live. Content creation wasn't the only thing that changed. Overtime, cities Linked together and became larger. Districts with their own distinct identity emerged. And eventually the megalopolis was formed. But still, some questions remained buried. Why was the Leader oblivious to these facts?

Perhaps there may still be clues left in this world.

The City

There are no words or combination of words that could be used to describe the sheer size of this megalopolis.

Even when standing at the peak of the highest tower, at over 5 km in height, there was no end to this dystopian cityscape. At this height, only the "border" that separates each district might be distinguishable.

If viewed high enough in an aerial vehicle, the supercity is structured in the shape of a set of single quotation marks, with one of the pairs flipped vertically. A river winds in between and through the entirety of the two halves from the far north to the south.

In the past, the megalopolis was governed as a whole. But, due to the results of a conflict. The mega-city was then faced with unexpected new growth at an unprecedented rate. This led to the decision to further divide and restructure known as districts.

Each of these districts may carry its own distinctive culture, governing system, social norm, to even its own unique biome. However, the prosperity and lives of the residents are still governed by only one thing.

The push for content creation.

This is the place where a particular story began.

In a place where a conglomerate had once again become much too powerful and had undesirable plans for the unknowing residents.

And in a place, where the residents themselves are unaware that this zone was just one of many smaller pockets, in a much larger universe of many existences.
