Ré:Arcadia is our place of limitless opportunity and unbound creativity! We may have created an overarching “main story” and world. However ; it is our talents with each their own twist - who get to decide how they share it with you, and to add their voices to our ever expanding digital tapestry.

The Unending City.

In this world spanning megalopolis, the people who reside in it dance an intricate waltz with the technology they both build and consume, both intertwined and yet… Always at odds.  For the corporate elite, it’s a pristine paradise. - Where sleek, geometric glass buildings reach untouchable heights, quiet skyways are traveled, holographic gardens are peacefully enjoyed, and their corporate logos that gleam like modern-day sigils of power. For everyone else?

Urban decay. Claustrophobic and unending “ground” floors where the sky is blotted out by overlapping overpasses, the air is always thick with the hum of machinery and the smell of artificial scents, neon signs flicker erratically, blaring advertising vices and distractions that often numb the population to despair, where ad-blockers are something you can only dream of affording, and something is always watching you whether you realize it or not.

The Portals.

No one quite knows when the first portal opened. While rare, but not unheard of occurrences ; a small rip in the universe resembling an oil slick would appear, spit out something - usually a sentient being, and promptly close. Leaving its unsuspecting victim scrambling as if they were the new main character of their own cruelly written isekai.

If one was lucky - or if they have a particularly special skill-set, power, or even magical capabilities ; it wouldn’t be long before they got snapped up by one of many corporations that found them useful. If one was even luckier, another portal would come and suck them back in from wherever they came from, or maybe somewhere else entirely.

That was until the crystal ship crash landed from space… Now suddenly the portals are more common than ever before, leaving chaos in their wake - and a sky that looks as if it’s cracked and not real at all. Only time will tell what happens next for the city.

Releum.

Not on so low a level you cannot see the sun, yet not quite high enough where the natural light can grace it’s store-front windows. Selling a variety of conveniences to those who come in - from energy or bubbly beverages, to quick meals, and everything in between one could think of. But with the newly added chaos in the city - this unassuming up-and-coming corporation holds a fun secret and aspirations to seize their goal.
